Building Relationships: the Key to success in Network Marketing Sales
When people think of network marketing sales, it brings to the mind desperately-pitched sales activities that one would like to steer clear off.
However the latest trend in network marketing, can change the image of the field significantly. It does not require persistently calling up people with information about your products and services. They will come to you, of their own accord. It is they who will want to establish a relationship with you.
The method I am speaking of is the concept of Attraction Marketing combined with Funded Proposals.
- Attraction Marketing- Selling through the process of creating value with your clients This is accomplished by educating them and being more of a consultant, rather than just forcing them to listen to your monotonous sales pitches. This positions you as the authority, and clients are more likely to buy from you, or join you in your business.
- Funded Proposal- As you engage your prospects using attraction marketing, you market affiliate products that are related to network marketing. This is what helps fund your marketing.
This can be accomplished through several channels, a few of which include:
- Pay Per Click Advertising
- Ezine Marketing
- Forum Marketing
- Article Marketing
These are just a few, but the good thing about them are that they are targeted and doesn’t involve hard core sales. Just putting out good content and supplying a link to a capture page where they can learn more about what you have to offer.
On this capture page will be an opt in form where they have to give some preliminary information (usually just a name and email). This is where the relationship building happens.
Through an Autoresponder system (e.g. Aweber, Getresponse, icontact, etc.) you set up for yourself , you will send automated messages that will offer to clients useful information on marketing and how to establish themselves in network marketing sales.
As you build your relationship by giving helpful advice and guidance, you will establish a credible image for yourselves. Gradually, through your recommendations thay will open up to your offer of business. After all you were the person who has educated them on opening an NMS business.
So if you want to be successful in network marketing sales, you must aim to educate your prospects and giving them a helping hand, instead of merely looking at them as prospective clients.
