No bells and whistles. It's there when you die. Permanent insurance is way more expensive and many people are more likely to drop a permanent policy after a few years because of cost (especially in today's economy). Keep in mind that the best policy to have is the type that's in force when you die. Term life insurance rates are the lowest they've been in history!
