Motorbikes As An Economic Alternative to Cars

As the motoring cost of that coupled with rising fuel prices, consumers interest in purchasing motorbikes is growing in present economic condition. In fact, people noe intend to make motorbikes as their as their primary mode of transport. Today, most of the drivers are opting for two -wheelers instead of four-wheeler as an economic alternative.

There is one more reason behind people’s growing interest in motorbikes in major cities is that people are frustrated at sitting in long hours of traffic. People also intend to reduce the costs of parking. In city like London, high congestion charges is one of the major issues that making people considering motorbikes for their daily communication.

There is no wonder that people are considering motorbikes as alternatives of cars, if we see all the frustrations and costs involved in modern motoring scenario. Public transport can be useful mode of communication, but it offers less flexibility than having control of one’s own vehicle like two-wheelers. Again, with the latter; people also have the independence of being able to plan journeys when and to where they  like.

It is seen that more than any other, the young people are interested in motorbikes and scooters. This is because, the cost of motor insurance involves with motorbikes is much less than that of cars. In fact, running two wheels as compared to four-wheelers  is far more economical.Studies also revealed that it is not only men, but young women are also buying motorbikes as their mode of transport. Motorbike market in no longer men dominated!
