Questions to be Pondered Upon While on the Path to Self-improvement
We often see ourselves as somewhat complacent with our lives, but of course it’s hard to think of anything else when where are real issues to be discussed. So we’re all bombarded with problems. Frankly speaking these problems should never even bother us to becoming all we ought to be in life. Aspirations, as they used to fire us up kids, should continue to live within us, even if short-lived or as long as we can cling on to the dream. There are these regulation questions to be pondered upon while on the path to self-improvement. These are:
1. What do I really aspire for in life?
This is a question that haunts from the time we are able to make sense of the world around us to the day that we die. One aspires to do so many things with their life, but, have so little time in hand to fulfill all aspirations. Discover something that you are good at and then take small step towards self-improvement. Diligence is the mantra to find out if it is worth it.
2. Do I really need to change?
The take on defining ’self’ by today’s generation has taken a whole new meaning.
If history has taught us one thing, it surely has to be lessons in the life that we have gone through. Try to find out if partying 70’s style would appeal to the younger generation or not. Dancing is, however, a part of partying. Watch them appreciate you after displaying to them how to really dance than break their bones attempting break-dancing.
3. Does all this have a bright side?
With a frenzy of activities happening around us, there seem to be no possibility for even taking into account that there might be light at the end of the tunnel. We could still encourage ourselves to see it as something positive without having to undergo so much scrutiny.
4. Is what I’m doing making me comfortable?
There are always two paths to choose between in life. There is the easy way and the right way when it comes to making a decision about what goes with which shoes or purse, shirt and what not. You don’t need to be a genius to see yourself as a unique person, or else we’ll all be same in everything we do and represent. Variety brings when very interesting and exciting questions are experimented.
5. Do I do enough for myself?
Have you done enough for yourself? Have you paid yourself due regard? Is there something more you want to do for yourself? Discontentment large quantities in every aspect of life could prove to be dangerous, but if its in small amounts, you’ll be able to visualize and do stuff you could never imagine doing.
6. Am I happy with myself today?
It’s an unfair question to be asked so let it be answered for you. If you love being a good and caring mom or dad to your children, then try and rev it up a little. Your kids will instantly recognize your effort and will love you forever. The same holds true for every other aspect of everyday life.
Once you take these questions to your brain and try and figure out an answer for each, you can safely believe that your journey towards self-improvement has already begun.
